Time for another dog painting.  This is Montey, a 13 year old german shepherd.    Montey's owner won this portrait during the tele-auction to raise money for Canadian Athletes Now on SHAW TV.  I love the smile on his face!  I think that was why this was one of those portraits that seemed to just flow so easily.

...Sadly, Montey passed away earlier this week.  He will be greatly missed by his family, and they told me that this portrait will be so much more importrant to them now...
