Tofino Sunset

Tofino Sunset - 14 x 18", acrylic

It was great to be back in the studio again this past weekend, after a few weeks of no painting at all (can you say "withdrawal"?). Of course I had to do a Tofino painting since I was just there soaking in it's gloriousness. This one is done on a cradled board textured first with an acrylic medium, then painted overtop. It's based on the sunset view from our campsite at Green Point (the provincial campground). There's no better place to camp!

If you are interested in this painting, please send me an email at info@lisariehl.com

Beautiful colors Lisa. I know what you mean, if I am away too long, I forget how to paint! I always think about what I could be painting, and start composing in my head! Glad you found the time!!

Thank you Mary Anne! I'm always seeing paintings too, everywhere I go. I love it!
