Laughing Crow

Laughing Crow - 12x12", acrylic

I've always loved crows. I took this photo ages ago meaning to paint it, but forgot about it until I recently re-discovered it. I used a cradled board that I'd glued a sheet of textured paper to, painted the ground black and started the painting. I did subtle differences in colour of the background blue in each solid area. The finished texture is really fun!
