Chloe

Chloe - 16x20", acrylic SOLD

I just finished Chloe's portrait yesterday. This will be surprise gift from a client of mine, who is giving this to her mother (Chloe's owner) for her birthday later this month. What a gorgeous breed this is! She's a Papillon - french for butterfly. Look at those fabulous butterfly ears!

I'm going away for the Easter long weekend, so I won't get a chance to paint for a few days. We are heading to Galiano Island to share a house with some friends. I've never been to this island - it's one of the gulf islands in between Victoria and Vancouver. Looking forward to it!

Lisa - this made me laugh out loud (in a good way). How stinkin' cute! Chloe's owner will be over the moon. Have a great weekend - I've heard Galiano is amazing.

Chloe is beautiful and your painting is wonderful. This breed is gorgeous and your handling of those ears are priceless, love the addition of the pink and the red peeking through. Very well done!

I love this little dog! Oh,those big butterfly ears and they way the light peeks through. The angle is great too and the pink is so perfect with her delicate little face. Those eyes would melt the heart of anyone.

I am enjoying looking around your blog so much. I just added your link to my blog...don't want to miss any of your outstanding work!

Thanks so much all of you! I just love painting pet portraits - it's amazing how each one has such a different feel to it...And it's so rewarding when I see the reaction to the finished painting!
